Midistaff the Learned, author of The Reign of Alfrega, was of Feirgard.<ref name=TheReignOfAlfrega>1999/11 Release - The Reign of Alfrega</ref> During the Ort rebellion, Harlune declared himself to be of Feirgard as well.<ref name=TheReignOfAlfrega /> During the Fourth Sending of Darkness, while speaking to his apprentice Hoshino Kei, Celdiseth commented that he wore the orange robe of an apprentice for many years, back in Feirgard.<ref>Meditations on the Abyss</ref>

The Cape Feirgard Cottages are most likely named after this location.
