Three Dericost Undead, probably members of the Filinuvekta, since they serve Geraine IV and assist him in many of his rituals <ref>2010/10 Hopes and Fears - Announcements - 2010/10 - Hopes and Fears#Teaser</ref> <ref>2011/05 Lost City of Neftet - Announcements - 2011/05 - Lost City of Neftet#Teaser</ref>. For a long time, their main task was collecting the Mnemosynes, objects which helped the Dericost to retain their Memories.<ref>2001/03 Spring's Sorrows - Mnemosynes#Lore & Dialog</ref>

This task was given over to apprentices, and the Archons became more active, and were involved in the rituals involving experiments with creatures such as the Gurog <ref>2010/11 From Darkness, Light - Journal of a Soldier</ref> <ref>2010/11 From Darkness, Light - Announcements - 2010/11 - From Darkness, Light#Rollout Article</ref> and the Bloodstones <ref name=Book2>2011/11 Master of Design - Book 2: The Gurogs and the beginnings of the Plan</ref>

Geraine IV's initial plans for the Gurogs were changed, as the Archons failed to create the controllable, unstoppable creatures promised. They did succeed in turning the simple Mattekar into a far more formidable creature, but they failed to impart the loyalty and intelligence needed to make them a truly devastating weapon for the armies of the Emperor. They may indeed be powerful enough to destroy the Lugians, but until properly controlled , they are little more than a failed experiment. <ref name=Book2/>

The Archons were tasked to keep the Bloodstone Facility hidden, but failed at that.<ref name=Book2/>

They also assisted with Geraine´s mingle with the timelines and portal space using the Book of Eibhil <ref name=BlackPool>2010/09 Plans Within Plans - Mystery of the Black Pool#Lore & Dialog</ref> <ref name=Book2/>.

They were manipulated by the Kemeroi into aiding the attempted release of the "Hopeslayer".<ref name=Book2/>

They seem to have mastered the art of being too useful to be killed, while also being too inept to truly succeed.<ref name=Book2/>
