Continuity/Sho Settlement on Dereth
Overview
Beta / Release
The Aluvians were the first Isparians to arrive on Dereth. They were followed by the Gharu'ndim, who began to arrive after Thorsten and Elysa had freed their people from Olthoi enslavement.<ref name=ACManualSamsur>1999/11 Release - Asheron's Call Manual: Samsur</ref><ref name=ZogblasterGharundimIntro>1996-1999 (unknown) Asheron's Call Beta - Zogblaster Archive: Gharu'ndim Introduction</ref> The Sho began to arrive after the Gharu'ndim.<ref name=ZogblasterGharundimIntro /><ref name=ZogblasterShoIntro>1996-1999 (unknown) Asheron's Call Beta - Zogblaster Archive: Sho Introduction</ref><ref name=ACManualShoushi>1999/11 Release - Asheron's Call Manual: Shoushi</ref>
An early map of the Sho nation shows Hebian-To, Mayoi, Shoushi, and Yanshi.<ref name=ZogblasterShoMap>1996-1999 (unknown) Asheron's Call Beta - Zogblaster Archive: Sho Nation in Dereth</ref>
The warlord Ijiku Tambai built the fortress Yaosai to protect the fledgling village of Hebian-To. Eventually, the need for protection diminished, and the fortress Yaosai was converted to the town Shoushi. Shoushi is now a waypoint between Hebian-To and the western Sho holdings.<ref name=ACManualShoushi />
Nanto used to be on the southern frontier of the Sho lands. In the past few years (from 10 PY) the frontier has expanded with towns such as Mayoi and Lin.<ref name=ACManualNanto>1999/11 Release - Asheron's Call Manual: Nanto</ref>
