- Travel to the Lytaway Dungeon and work your way to the end. Pick up a
Broken Taper or two on the way if you would like. - Retrieve
Inuo-Kon Kou's Book from the floor of the final room. - Return the book to Inuo at the Outpost.

- Inuo KonKou tells you, "I suspect my book was stolen by drudges, who have lately taken up residence in the dungeon I filled with lights, the Kindled Path."
- Inuo KonKou tells you, "Ungrateful creatures. The dungeon is to the east of here. Look for the candles that mark the entrance."
Handing in Inuo-Kon Kou's Book
- You give Inuo KonKou Inuo-Kon Kou's Book.
- Inuo KonKou tells you, "Ah, well done. The drudges seem to like the smell of the book's binding, I guess."
- Inuo KonKou tells you, "Anyway, here is a reward for you. From here, you may wish to see what else may be done in Nanto. By the way, if you've found any broken tapers, I think the Archmage's Apprentice would like them more than I do."
- Inuo KonKou gives you 200 Pyreals.
