A seasonal quest in Frost Haven which rewards players with many holiday-themed house decorations, pets, and pack dolls.
# Defeat the [[Abominable Snowman]] that is currently attacking the town and loot a {{Itemlink|Frozen Present}} from its corpse.

# Shortly after defeating the Abominable Snowman, [[Scold]] will appear.
# Attack and defeat [[Scold]]. He will break into [[Scold Chunk]]s and then [[Scold Lump]]s as you work to beat him.
# Loot a {{Itemlink|Hot Coal}} from the [[Scold Lump]]'s body.

# Use the [[Hot Coal]] on the [[Frozen Present]] to reveal a {{Itemlink|Present}}.

To get to Frost Haven, take the Qalaba'r Oasis Settlement Portal from Qalaba'r. It is a short run to Frost Haven at 68.4S, 25.4E. The nearby Mount Ingot Dungeon can be tied to, and it makes for a great shortcut portal to bring multiple characters to Frost Haven.

A special [[Abominable Snowman (Assault on Frost Haven Version)|Abominable Snowman]] would spawn in Frost Haven. Once killed, the snowman would drop many frozen presents on its corpse. Then a special [[Scold]] would spawn. Like the regular Scold he would break into smaller and smaller pieces until he was finally killed. The tiny scolds would drop a special coal used to melt the frozen present. You would then double click the present and get a random reward. Players could also show the Mayor of Frost Haven the coal and he would give them a frozen present to melt.

Walkthrough & Notes

  1. Defeat the Abominable Snowman that is currently attacking the town and loot a Frozen Present from its corpse.

  2. Shortly after defeating the Abominable Snowman, Scold will appear.
  3. Attack and defeat Scold. He will break into Scold Chunks and then Scold Lumps as you work to beat him.
  4. Loot a Hot Coal from the Scold Lump's body.
    • You've stamped hotcoalpickuptimer!
  5. Use the Hot Coal on the Frozen Present to reveal a Present.
