Overview

Quest to obtain one of Lady Maila's elemental stones. See Atlan Stones for the other quest guides.

• Minor stones can be used to upgrade Atlan Weapons and Isparian Weapons.

• Any combination of two minor stones can be given to an Agent of the Arcanum for a Writ of Refuge.

Walkthrough & Notes

1. Travel to the igloo at 42.7N, 49.8E.
   • Route: From Holtburg, take the Holtburg Wilderness Settlement portal at 40.2N, 35.1E. Run northeast to the igloo at 42.7N, 49.8E.
2. Once there you will see it is surrounded by Frost elementals, you can run right past them into the cave where you will find the Minor Shivering Stone.
3. Optional: You can take the Textbook, that is found with the stone, to Bretself the Translator in Cragstone for translation at 26.0N, 47.0E.

Bretself the Translator tells you, "You certainly deserve a copy a this for yourself.".

Bretself the Translator gives you Atlan's Treatise.

Handing in Minor Shivering Stone to an Agent of the Arcanum

You give Agent of the Arcanum Minor Shivering Stone.

Agent of the Arcanum tells you, "These elemental stones have wonderful properties. The minor ones aren't quite as useful as the major stones, but I can reward you a writ if you bring me another minor stone."

You give Agent of the Arcanum Minor Shivering Stone.

Agent of the Arcanum tells you, "Excellent, the second minor stone! We hope to tap those energies for other uses. Here, take this as a reward."

Agent of the Arcanum gives you Writ of Refuge.

Shadows of the Past Quest introduced. The minor stone was originally located at the igloo at 89.0N, 1.6W. Heart of Woe Minor stone moved to igloo at 42.7N, 49.8E. Remembering the Past Agents of the Arcanum now accept Atlan stones in exchange for writs. The Risen Princess Spawns at igloo updated from Glacial Golems to Frosts. The Quest for Freedom Repeat timer changed from 13 days to 20 hours.
