The Sundering is the magical spell that Asheron Realaidain and his surviving adepts cast to send the remaining Yalaini into Portal Space after their world was overrun by the Olthoi. This event took place in HE 647, and marked the end of the Third Age of Lore.<ref name=AgesEmp>2001/11 Dark Majesty - Ages of the Empyrean</ref>
