Walkthrough & Notes

1. Aun Teriona (flag required) will tell you a specific type of Carenzi to hunt based on your level, however you can hunt any of them. See each creature page linked below for spawn maps.
   • Talk to Aun Teriona: You've stamped AunTeriona_Flag!
2. Kill Carenzi until one drops a liver (it drops on the ground beside the corpse).
3. Use the liver (nothing is actually picked up), and a 2 hour timer will begin (continues to count down even if you are logged out). Continue killing the same type and using livers as they drop.
   • First Liver (any): You've stamped CarenziPlagueStarted!
4. When you finish with one of the liver types you will receive a message. Then, you can return to Teriona or continue with a different type within two total hours of the timer.

While they are fierce creatures and sometimes infest burrows that they should not, by and large they exist in harmony with Palenqual. I have heard a troubling report, though - that the touch of Wharu infests some carenzi and inflicts a terrible disease."

Aun Teriona tells you, "To prevent the plague from overtaking the land, you must seek carenzi which bear plague and destroy both them and others of their kind in that immediate area. Examine their livers to identify whether the carenzi are diseased. If you have culled the diseased carenzi already, show me the liver that I may see the evidence of the infection."

Aun Teriona tells you, "Know that only those carenzi which burrow upward to the light are afflicted. Those which exist forever in the ground are not susceptible to the illness."
